Fabulous staff, very warm engaging and helpful. Could not fault the service! The hotel was beautifully designed with individual colour schemes for each room. The breakfast was meticulous and the freshly baked croissants each day with dulce de leche was a delicious touch! I would recommend this place to anyone.
The staff were so helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is very chic and modern with some antique touches. Everything was very clean and also very comfortable. The breakfast was very good with fresh french pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice. They also had eggs and toast available on request. My first night there I was hungry but too tired to go get something so they ordered it for me and brought it up to my room complete with a little flower in a vase. They also loaned me an adapter for my laptop. Thoughtful touches everywhere.
The location was good but not fantastic. It felt a bit isolated walking at night and I would recommend that female travelers take taxis rather than walking, even if not alone. There are some nice restaurants and stores within walking distance during the daytime, but at night it felt a little risky to be out and about around the hotel. From what I could tell this has less to do with the neighborhood specifically, which was very nice, and more just generally with using common sense as a female traveler in Buenos Aires.
Great Service with a very modern and clean feeling. A great place for Travellers looking for a comfortable stay.
The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Everyone who worked there went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. And Palermo is the best place to stay in BA. We had a wonderful 2 nights there and only wish we could have stayed even longer!
Staff rocks. Easy walk to trendy SOHO like area and food.
35peso's cab ride to downtown. Still very cheap, and this area is great.
Hotel staff realy kind
The noise coming from the elevator motor in room #42 makes imposible to sleep comfortably. You hear noises like a hummer knocking the ceiling...all day and night every time someone uses the elevator
This is a very comfortable boutique hotel and is a good value. The best thing about it is the staff, who were all excellent. They owner is fabulous and has done a good job in hiring his staff, all who speak several languages (I think the owner speaks four). They are very welcoming and go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant.
Rooms were clean and the rates were very good in comparison to other hotels in the area.
Very noisy - Bonpland is a very busy road and the buses pass by noisily and regularly. Hotel staff are pleasant but not forthcoming with information about things to do etc. For example, we were not even aware that the hotel conducted wine tasting each evening until we were informed by other guests several days into our stay. Also, rooms are exceptionally small - the website photographs are quite deceptive. Lack of facilities - no pool or spa, even the bar is tiny - essentially, if you want to hang around the hotel, you need to stay in your room as there is a severe lack of lobby/bar/common space to loiter or relax if you don't wish to go out for the day or evening, and given the rooms are small it gets claustrophobic quite quickly. Also, I wasn't happy with the hotels policy on amending a booking. We were not happy with the room as it was very noisy - they could not move us to another room and would not let us shorten our stay to salvage part of our honeymoon - quite inflexible and not considerate of our circumstances.
It was not actauly me who stayed at the hotel - i booked it as a surprise for the daughters brithday - she was soooo impressed by it that i wanted to give youa resort - the service/freindlyness/cleanliness/location couldn ot have been better - i cannot recommend it enough
Wonderful concierge willing to help with every detail.
lovely reception staff who were all friendly and helpful with lots of good advice
the room was a little small in floor area even though the high celings made it feel very spacious
The service, the bed and the breakfasts! There is so much that we loved about this place that it´s hard not to go into overdrive about it, but suffice to say if we ever come back to BA, we won´t even consider looking for another place to stay.
great staff, nice breakfast, wi-fi, stylish modern and spacious rooms. Location is also great, right next to tons of bars / restaurants and 15 mins walk from the boutiquesof Palermo
rooms are little noisy from buses passing by, noise insultaion fromn windows leaves a bit to be desired; no swimming pool or large outdoor space (only 2 tables on ground floor courtyard)
nice furniture, comfortable bed, good breakfast, plenty of good restaurants near, easy walk to subway, friendly-helpful staff
I loved the character of the hotel, the warm hospitality and it had a great location
lack of hanging space for dresses
